Holistic Medicine Consultations
Women’s health consultations are centered around the philosophy that the body has an innate ability heal itself. Consultations focus on healthy ways of supporting the body’s efforts towards health and wholeness. Recommendations focus on herbs, homeopathic remedies, nutritional adjustments and lifestyle changes which can help the body function normally.
What can I expect during a consultation?
Initial consultations are 1 - 1 1/2 hours long. Initial consultations involve a complete health history with a focus on reproductive health and a nutritional analysis followed by a thorough discussion on your presenting complaints. You will receive immediate recommendations of things to change or ways to nourish yourself. Within 2-3 days you will receive a written health plan.
I will then see you for a follow-up visit. Timing of the follow-up visit is dependent on the condition and treatment plan. Follow-ups will usually take place in 3-6 weeks. Follow up visits are usually 1/2 hour long.

How much do consultations cost?
Visits are pro-rated at a rate of $50/hr.. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card (through paypal). There is a 10% discount for current doula clients

Where do consultations occur?
Consultations can take place in your home or mine, whichever is more convenient. Consultations can also take place over the phone.

I may ask you to bring a 3 day diet journal to your initial consultation which includes everything you eat or drink for 3 whole days (please also include any medications, drugs or cigarettes).
